NEIGHBORHOOD CRIME WATCH and SAFETY INFORMATION

Identity Theft is rising. When possible, remove the mail from your mailbox as soon as you have an opportunity to do so.

Contact information – please be sure we have your current email address by notifying Ethan Robinson of any changes.  Email and or Text Messages are the most efficient ways for us to relay information to you on urgent matters.

SAFETY

 - Keep your garage doors closed, and cover your windows & exterior doors with shades after dusk.

 - Please lock the doors to your vehicle(s) parked on the street or in the driveway.

 - Don’t ignore strangers ringing your doorbell during the day – they may be “casing the joint”. Most burglars won’t commit a burglary if they think someone is home. Ask who it is, but don’t open the door to someone you don’t know.

- Installation of motion lights in the front of your home, in the back driveway and even landscape lighting will help at reducing the risk of someone taking advantage of the situation at night when entering your home.

- Know your neighbors and keep their phone numbers handy or stored in your phones address book.

- Report street lights out immediately.

We will be working on “Safe Houses” on our streets for kids to know is a safe place to go in case of strangers, accidents, etc… If you are interested in having your home as a “Safe House” please email ethan.robinson@texseal.com.  Must agree to a background check.

SPEEDERS! – We have received word of several determined neighborhood speeders.  Please slow down before you hit a kid.  If that’s not enough incentive, check the Carrollton Police Department website to see the cost of a speeding ticket!
